Lunch and a Fairy Garden Viewing

My friend, Linda, recently invited the owner of The Rendezvous With Tea, Naszreen Gibson, and me to lunch.  Linda is a fabulous cook, so an invitation to her house for lunch is always a treat. I've blogged about tea tastings at Naszreen's shop several times.

Lunch began with Watermelon Gazpacho - So good and refreshing!

~ Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Salad.  Cucumber Water accompanied our meal. ~

~ Scottish Scones with Lemon Curd and Clotted Cream ~

~ Chicken Strudel with Carrots and Snap Peas [cooked in Earl Grey tea] ~

Naszreen brought the desserts which included 'Love' cake made with ground cashews, which she brought back from her recent trip to Sri Lanka.  Hot tea was served with the dessert.

Linda recently made a fairy garden in her back yard that I had fun seeing and photographing.  Her yard is heavily wooded, so it's the perfect place for a fairy garden.  I don't know who enjoys it more - Linda or her grandchildren! ;-)
