The Diamond Jubilee Winds Down

As Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee winds down with today's Grand Finale, I want to share two special commemorative keepsakes that were given to me by two lovely British ladies.  Actually the gifts were given to me when they came for lunch on April 26th, but I've saved blogging about them until now.

On the right is a Marks & Spencer commemorative tin of Scottish shortbread which didn't last until the Diamond Jubilee!  ;-)   The shortbread was yummy!

In the center is a Royal Worcester teacup and saucer from The Diamond Jubilee Collection.

I didn't receive an E-mail from Harney & Sons about their Diamond Jubilee tea blend until last Thursday, but I immediately placed an order for a tin.

When it arrives I'll have a post celebratory cup of Diamond Jubilee tea in my beautiful new teacup!  Thanks Elizabeth and Ruth for your lovely gifts!   And God Bless the Queen!

  3. Let me know what you think of the tea! I was tempted, too...but have too many teas on hand already.

  4. I would be curious about the tea too. Right now I am enjoying some Titanic tea, which was a special gift.
