Christmas Eve with the Barkey Clan!

Our Christmas Eve began by celebrating with my 91 year old mother.  We reserved a party room at her assisted living facility and met there at 4:00 o'clock for appetizers.

This is my mom holding her youngest great-grandchild, Ellie [Elizabeth], who is five months old.

Steve took the photo below of Ellie on his i-phone, and posted it on his Facebook page.  I copied it to share here.   Her first Christmas is so special!

  1. Loved seeing your family gathering. How very special. Isn't it funny but when we had four generations together at Thanksgiving we didn't take a four generation photo. My MIL is still upset about that. We did get one of the whole family, but she wanted one of just the four generations. Oh dear, we are not use to doing these sort of things. Have a lovely day tomorrow. Merry Christmas!

  4. What a wonderful Christmas Eve! I love seeing all the pictures of your family (and what a blessing to have them all together!) but that 4generations picture is a real treasure. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and all the blessings of this Holy season.
