I recently watched my two grandchildren for the day. We went to the $ store where I let them pick out some things to keep occupied. Isabella, who will turn seven next month, wanted a spiral notebook to write and draw in. Below is the picture she drew for my refrigerator. [She knew what would bring a smile to her Nana's face! ;-)]
She asked if they could have hot chocolate in a teapot and teacups [they're actually espresso cups that I bought to use as child-size teacups]. That's Isabella and her brother, Landon [who will be four in November], in the photo below.
I haven't babysat their new little sister, Elizabeth [Ellie] yet, but I bought her the cutest tea themed onsie at J.C. Penney's. I asked my daughter-in-law to take a photo of her wearing it so I could post it on my blog, and she said she would. It may be a few days though because they're moving into a new house this week. In the meantime, I'll share a photo of the onsie without Ellie wearing it.
Phyllis, what a fun day with your grandchildren! I wondered if their family had moved, yet. I love Isabella's artwork.
ReplyDeleteThat onesie is adorable! Will look forward to seeing it on your grandbaby. The older two are darling and what a nice teaparty they had. Love the drawing, too.
