2009 Christmas Tea Tablescapes

For our Second Annual Christmas Tea [2009] I signed a contract with Enchantment Banquet Facility, and they allowed us to do our own tablescapes.  12 ladies volunteered to set 13 tables, completely different from the preceding year.

Our only fundraiser at this tea was a household [small items] silent auction, and below is what my living room looked like after wrapping all the donated items for display.  Santa's workshop!  ;-)

Here they are on display at the banquet center.

The hall was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

1st Place Table - "Tea Time"

Runner-Up Table - "Angels Around Us"

"Old Country Roses"

"Season's Greetings"

"Antique Christmas Bulbs"

"Purple Peace"

"Carol's Cozy Corner"

"The Music & Magic of Christmas Morning"

"Winter Wonderland"

"Snow Babies"

"Blue Serenity"

"Butterfly Kisses"

"Girlfriends"

Our entertainment was a vocal trio [sisters], and a floral arrangement demonstration by a local florist.  The arrangement was given away as a door prize.

It's become a tradition for Kelly to read Tom Hegg's book, "A Cup of Christmas Tea" at our Christmas Teas.

Here's what 109 ladies at a Christmas tea party looks like!

This is my sweet daughter, Lori, who is always supportive of my tea endeavors!

Please come back tomorrow for 2010's Christmas Tea with a whole new group of tablescapes.

  5. I wish all your photos could be compiled in a nice picture book, because I'd be turning to it again and again for inspiration! (But at least I can come back here and look at the great blog photos!)
