A Bonjour Paris Tea

This past Saturday, my friends and I traveled to East Lansing, MI to attend our sixth Cristy Bennett Tea.  [I did a series of blog posts about the other five teas beginning here.]   Cristy's teas are a delight to the senses, and very detailed.

Light snow flakes were gently falling when we arrived.  Cristy's front door set the stage for the tea that was about to unfold inside.

The theme of the tea is carried out in Cristy's living and dining room - below is a cute stuffed pink poodle.

Those were real roses at each place setting, and one of the favors for guests to take home.

Individual Menus

An opening toast with Sparkling French Berry Lemonade

The first tea served was Goji Berry Green Tea [from Tealightful Treasures], followed by a Darjeeling 2nd flush tea.

Cream of Tomato Soup with a warm Cheddar Parmesan Cheese Scone, complete with a pink poodle spreader for our butter!

Crustless Vegetarian Quiche Lorraine; Salad Greens with Champagne Vinaigrette Dressing and a Parmesan Cheese Wafer; and a Fresh Fruit Cup with Citrus Dressing.

Neapolitan Cheesecake and Dark Chocolate-dipped Strawberry.  Love the pom-pom on the cheesecake!

It was a delightful tea, and a wonderful way to spend a wintry Saturday afternoon!  The next tea - Daffodil Delight - is scheduled for April 13th and I have a reservation.

  1. Bonjour! What a lovely tea! All that pink, so girly and fun. Wish I were close enough to go to the next one with you, but I will have to be content to read about it.
