Sunday Reflection...

"Hosanna!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord... Hosanna in the highest!"
Mark 11:9-10

Palm Sunday celebrates the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.  It is the beginning of Holy Week, culminating with Easter Sunday, the glorious celebration of Christ's resurrection.

The Gospel of Mark states that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds greeted Him by waving palm branches with shouts of "Hosanna."

"Hosanna" was a shout of praise, jubilation, and adoration in recognition of the Messiahship of Jesus.  They were declaring, "We are saved!"

May God bless your week!

  1. I didn't get to shout "Hosanna" today or even sing it, as I have almost completely lost my voice! But I did get to play the piano and chimes. May your Holy Week be filled with special blessings.
