A Very Happy Birthday!

When I awoke this morning my hubby had my birthday gift and card sitting on the dining room table - a matching teapot, sugar and creamer from the Snowman collection of Grace Teaware.

It was very appropriate because below was the scene from my front porch yesterday morning!  The children across the street made a real snowman in their front yard.

Family and friends called, sent cards, e-mailed, and left birthday messages on Facebook.  Thank you all for making my day so special.  I feel very privileged to celebrate another birthday, and to have good health to enjoy it.  God is good!

In the evening, Jerry took our daughter and me out to dinner, and we had a nice time together.

We began with Saganaki [Opa!] Kasseri cheese [Greek-Turkish] flamed tableside.  Sandy was our wonderful server.

We all ordered something different and were pleased with our choices.

For dessert Jerry and Lori split Tiramisu and I had Creme Brulee with a candle!

Lori gave me two wonderful books that I can hardly wait to sit down with over a cup of tea, and a teapot calendar.  I love the PBS Masterpiece series, Victoria, Season II currently televised on Sunday night, so I know I'm going to enjoy this book.  Are you watching it?

And I always enjoy learning about Queen Elizabeth II.

A teapot calendar to keep me on track with beautiful pictures.

When we got home grandchildren Isabella and Landon called to sing Happy Birthday over the telephone.  It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.  Now another year begins.
