January is Hot Tea Month

What hot tea is in your cup this January morning?

This is the view outside my bedroom window this morning. It's cold outside.  Presently -01 degrees, and if we're lucky it'll get up to a high of 13 today. Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea is tasting very good!

What books or DVD's are you nesting with?

I'm enjoying my Downton Abbey books and DVD's, and looking forward to the opening of Season Four this coming Sunday night.   I foresee hosting a Downton Abbey tea in my future!

  1. Harney's Holiday tea for me today. Yum! We started the day at 14 degrees which is awfully cold for Georgia, but it's better than minus anything! Some snow on the ground here, too, but not as much as you have. Hot tea is especially welcome on a chilly day like this. Stay warm and enjoy!

  2. What a nice post. You're making me feel good, or at least not guilty, about staying inside and reading and being on the computer! Not the most productive of days, but I did do 3 loads of laundry. I'm drinking Yin Hao Jasmine and my next cup will be Earl Grey. I had some Blueberry Crumble coffee this a.m. as well. Stay warm, Phyllis.

  3. I am about to put the kettle on and peruse the latest Tea Time magazine from the mail. Too cold to be outside, so I shall make myself cozy.
The cobalt blue teacup is gorgeous.

  4. We are *hoping* for some snow here late this weekend, and if it comes, it'll be the first I've seen in two years. I am currently reading a new cozy mystery called "The Azalea Assault" about a garden society in Virginia, and after I finish it I'm going to continue re-reading Jan Karon's Mitford novels. Those are just such happy books, I love reading them over and over!
