Teapots III

Today's post will begin with my six durable Hall teapots.  I especially like the Aladdin shaped ones. The Autumn Leaf pattern was made by Hall for the Jewel Tea Company, and has an infuser basket.  Hall China Company was founded in 1903 in East Liverpool, Ohio, so the teapots are American made.

The musical tea set is made by Fielder Keepsakes in the United States. The large Pansy teapot is by Arthur Wood & Son and was a gift purchased at Heslops. Remember that fabulous chain china store that is no more?  I used to love to go there and just look at all the beautiful china.  The smaller teapot is by Crown Dorset.

The Leopard teapot came from South Africa, and my hubby got the bottom tea set  at a garage sale still in its original box.  Its only marking is Romeo and Juliet.

Alice in Wonderland by Paul Cardew, and Adelaide Yellow by 222 Fifth.

Beatrix Potter by Sadler for Frederick Warne, and the Grandfather Clock teapot is by Cardinal, Inc. and Big Ben teapot is by Price & Kensington Potteries in England.

Brown Betty - England's everyday teapot.  I bought the Boston Tea Party teapot at Bruce Richardson's Elmwood Inn Fine Teas in Kentucky for a Daughter's of the American Revolution [DAR] presentation about tea during the American Revolution.

Lastly, my three thatched roof cottage teapots.

These 22 teapots bring the count to 64.  It's amazing how quickly they add up!

To be continued...

  1. I have a couple of cottage teapots, too, they are so cute! And one shaped like a birdhouse. Those Hall ones, especially the Aladdin shape, are wonderful. But my all time favorites in this bunch are the music ones!

  2. LOVE all your teapots!! I'm partial to Hall teapots myself and collect them in the "Boston" shape. Think I've got almost 2 dozen in various colors. Teapots are like people..they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors and they all have their own personalities too.
