Happy February!

It seems like we just celebrated Christmas and New Year's and here we are at February 1st already! Happy February everyone!  February is my birth month, and I was gifted with the teacup below about 15 years ago.   It's a Royal Albert, from the "Flowers of the Month Series" - Violets.

What's in your teacup on this first day of February?  My day began with a cup of Snowflake black tea with almond and coconut flakes, and cinnamon bits.  It's delicious and perfectly suited to this time of year.  It's blended by the East Indies Tea Company in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.  I purchased mine at two different tea rooms in Pennsylvania last fall - Sweet Remembrances and Camellias Sin. I love the quote at East Indies Tea Company website: "Tea is water's best friend."

May your February be blessed and filled with lots of good tea!

Today I'm joining Bernideen's Tea Time Blog for "Friends Sharing Tea".

  1. This sounds very delicious. At least 6 cups probably - at least! Thanks for sharing that beautiful February teacup too!

  2. Happy February - it's birthday season! I love the teacup with the violets (I love most anything with violets) and that tea does sound delicious. I'm about to go make some Earl Grey but not in a pretty teacup, since I'm at work. So I'll just enjoy looking at yours.

  3. Oh, I do hope you have a wonderful birthday and birth month, Phyllis! May it be filled with friends and family and, of course, lots of tea!
