On Saturday, Dec. 7th, I coordinated the Sixth Annual Christmas Tea for the ladies of my church. Sycamore Hills Golf Club has been the location for two of our spring teas, but this was the first Christmas Tea held there, and they did a great job.
Two friends arrived early to help me set up the table for the tablescape program, and place the centerpieces, teapots, etc. on the tables. Thanks ladies!

The main dining room was beautifully decorated with garlands, poinsettias, miniature white lights, and a Christmas tree. Pictured below is a retired minister's wife who attends our church, and her two talented granddaughters, Amy and Amanda. Amanda was part of our program and you'll see her picture again later. I love how tea is multi-generational!
The tea station is visible in the background. Holiday Berry black tea [flavored with cranberries and raspberries] was served. I ordered it from An Afternoon to Remember Fine Teas.
Though the temperature was only in the 20's, it was a clear, beautiful day and the picturesque view of the golf course was lovely.

Our meal began with a Mixed Green Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing and rolls.
The main course was Chicken Marsala, Green Beans Almondine, and Potatoes Anna.
Dessert was an Ice Cream Sundae and Miniature Cupcake.
Our program began with soloist Colleen singing Christmas selections.
High school senior, Amanda, played a violin solo, "O Come, O Come Immanuel." Amanda is a member of the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra, and plays at Orchestra Hall.
