It's always a good day when a package from Harney & Sons tea arrives in the mail. I ordered a 1 lb. bag of Blueberry Green loose tea for me and a 20 sachet tin for my son, Jeremy, and 2 boxes of Raspberry Herbal for each of us.
We have the date on the calendar for our ladies spring tea at church - Saturday, April 26th. More details will be forthcoming.
If you like wholesome, enjoyable entertainment, don't miss watching All Creatures Great and Small on PBS Masterpiece. Season 5, with seven episodes just concluded last Sunday night but hubby and I will definitely be watching old episodes from previous seasons. You're sure to see tea scenes in every episode - not at fancy tea parties, but in everyday living. It's filmed in the Yorkshire Dales, so if you're an Anglophile, this program's for you.
It's the retelling of the life of James Alfred ["Alf"] Wright [1916 - 1995], better known by his pen name, James Herriot, who was a British veterinarian, and is set in the 1930's and 1940's.
I love tea and your St. Patrick’s Day flyer is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI’m a fan of both shows you mentioned and I think if they were to do a new season of Downton it’d be interesting to do WWII era. George would be in the service, and Marigold and Sybbie involved too!
