Christmas Happenings

With Christmas Eve right around the corner, I thought I'd try to write one more post while I have a chance.  I had hoped to post my tea-themed Christmas Card to you, but alas the USPS can't locate my order.  Two orders have actually been listed 'in transit' for almost three weeks. It's SO frustrating, and I've given up hopes of receiving them in time for Christmas - if they arrive at all!

My hubby and I went to Chelsea, MI on Sunday to spend the day with our youngest son and his family.  We met them at their church and went to their house afterwards for a few hours.

Their beautiful Christmas tree.

A look out their Great Room window into the backyard.   The only thing that would make this picture look more wintry, is snow on the ground.  The naked trees look so forlorn.

Yesterday the florist delivered this beautiful Christmas arrangement from my sweet neighbor - the one who loves to decorate for Christmas.  What a thoughtful surprise!

I had hoped to get all 25 'Tea for Two To Go' baskets for The Whitney assembled yesterday, but the project spilled over into today too.  It's a time consuming job because two packages of tea go into each basket, and the tea has to be weighed and labels attached to the packages. Thank goodness my hubby was willing to give me a helping hand or I would have been going back again tomorrow to finish up.  I hope the baskets bring Christmas cheer to the recipients.

If I don't get to post again for a couple of days, I wish you a very Merry Christmas!   Thank you for following my blog throughout another year.  I'll soon be starting my 9th year of blogging with 1,870 posts completed.

  1. Merry Christmas to you, too! I am sure those baskets will be greatly appreciated, and I am glad you could spend time with your family. Stay safe and well!
