This is the first time since I've been blogging that I've written two posts in one day. I wanted to continue the chronological posts about my Southern Tea Time Getaway - Day 4, Part III which precedes this post so don't miss it, but this special additional post is for local readers.
If you're a tea enthusiast, you'll remember Cheryl Nix's Tea by Three tearoom that began in 1999 and closed in 2014. During those 15 years Cheryl acquired a lot of beautiful dishes and tea equipage used in her phenomenal tablescapes.
She has had a few liquidation sales since closing, and contacted me recently that she was preparing to have another one. I went over this past Monday to photograph the items that will be going in this sale. [Click on photos to enlarge for better viewing.]
Johnson Bros. Old Britain Castles
Royal Albert China
Gorgeous hand painted trios
Beautiful Prism Lusters
Vintage Costumes and Clothing
She has priced things to go, and everything is in great condition. The date of her sale is yet to be determined, but if any of these items interest you, or you want to know the date of the sale you can contact Cheryl at 586-612-0061. Tell her you are calling because you saw this post. She lives in Clinton Township.
Oh, wow! I wish I had space and budget enough to buy up all that pretty china! But I don't so I am happy just to look at it in your photos. I hope it will go to good homes with new owners who will treasure it.
