Celebrating Christmas at Church

Tonight was our candlelight service at church.  Members of the Romeo High School Choir and Director Jeff Hinkle opened the service.

Granddaughter Brooke [who is in the choir], sang a duet with one of her classmates.

Pastor Steve and Mr. Hinkle attended high school together, so they surprised the congregation by singing a duet.  Most in our church were unaware Pastor has a good singing voice.

Pastor Steve brought a devotional about the shepherds who left their flocks to see the Christ Child.  The service concluded with the congregation singing Silent Night.

  1. The candlelight service is one of my favorites. How wonderful to have members of your family taking part! Ours will be this evening, and I’m looking forward to it.
