A Peaches and Cream Tea

Because I took a blogging break for the month of August, I didn't share Cristy Bennett's August 3rd Peaches and Cream tea with you yet, so today's the day!

As always, Cristy's living room was decorated to match the theme.

I'm ready and waiting for the tea to begin!


We started with a Sparkling Georgia Peach Juice toast.


The first course was chilled Peach Soup with Gingery Peach Scones and Peach Preserves. The tea served was Goji Berry Green Tea and Peach Passion Black Tea from Tealightful Treasures, where Cristi is an independent consultant.


The second course was Turkey-Mandarin Orange Salad, Summertime Fruit Salad, Cucumber Melon Blossom, and Peach Chutney Crostini.


The dessert course was Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream.  The perfect ending to a delightful tea!


I'm looking forward to attending Cristy's February 2014 Breakfast at Tiffany's tea.  It will be the perfect way to begin a new year, and celebrate my birthday too!
