Last Friday I went to visit a girlfriend who lives near my childhood stomping grounds - my excuse for no blog post that day. Sorry!
We had fun visiting an interior decor store, an antique mall, a thrift shop, and having lunch together.
There were many lovely things, but half-way through the store I spotted a beautiful teapot/teacup chandelier that definitely called my name! I oohed and aahed over it, and told the saleslady I'd think about it. After we left the store, I called my hubby to ask if he'd be willing to take down the current light fixture, and put up a new one. He said he would, so I happily returned to the store to make the purchase.
It will hang over my dining room table when it's installed, but to get a photo for this post, it's hanging on a hook that normally holds a leaded glass piece. This is the 'before' photo. The 'after' photo may be awhile depending on how soon I purchase the ceiling medallion, and hubby gets it hung.
I'm so happy with my purchase, and can hardly wait to have it lighting our mealtimes.
Beautiful! So happy for you and what a fun day for you!
