My granddaughter, Brianna, turned 17 on June 29th. We enjoyed celebrating with her at Stony Creek Metro Park.

We returned to Stony Creek Metro Park on July 11th for a baptismal service, which our church does every summer at Stony Creek Lake.

This year Brianna was baptized. It was an outward testimony of her inward decision to live for Jesus, and follow His plan for her life.
A Prayer to Live By
Dear Lord, without you I am nothing. You are my faithful provider and counselor. I rely not on my own understanding, but on your perfect plan for me. In all my ways I want to acknowledge and honor You. Give me steps that are sure, a path this is clear, and a future that is bright. And at the end of life's journey, welcome me into your presence to live with you forever. Amen."
