My 'biological odometer' turned over another year today. The celebrating began yesterday when my daughter took me to lunch at Presley's in the David Whitney building, downtown Detroit. I ordered a Mediterranean Salad.
It was so enjoyable having mother/daughter time.
Foyer of the David Whitney building, and entrance to Presley's.
This afternoon my hubby took me to The White Horse Inn in Metamora for my birthday dinner. Metamora is known for being an equestrian community. It's often referred to as Michigan Horse Country.
I knew before we went that I would order their Honey Plum Salmon. It's SOOO good!
I ordered a pot of Bigelow's Pomegranate Green Tea to go with my meal.
Before leaving we posed for a picture in front of their fireplace.
I made four different baked goods to take to The Whitney tomorrow. I'm like the child who takes cupcakes to school for their birthday! ;-) First row: Chocolate chip pumpkin bread. On top of them are butterscotch brownies. Second row: Buckeye brownie cookies. Center: 7-layer cookies. It was fun baking and putting the tray together.

Happy Birthday!!! Sounds like it has been a good one so far! And the baked goods look very yummy!
