We have an amazing pastry chef at The Whitney. One of the servers showed me an adorable snowman he made as one of the seasonal desserts on the menu. I couldn't resist taking a picture to share with you. The bottom is a white chocolate cup filled with Key Lime cheesecake. I'm not sure what the middle and top are made of. When I went to the third floor kitchen to talk to the chef he had already gone home for the day. I'll report back on it next week.
There's no real snowmen in Michigan right now - we had temperatures in the 40's today. Quite unseasonal for December, but I'm not complaining.
I had my busiest week since I became Tea Director - I served tea to 73 guests, and 66 last week. I don't know yet how many reservations there'll be next week. 'Tis the Season for sipping tea with friends and loved ones. TGIF! ;-)
