Tuesday, December 26th, was the 25th Wedding Anniversary of our son, Steve, and his wife, Sharon. They planned a Christmas wedding when he was teaching in San Antonio, Texas, and could come home on Christmas break.
We took them and their two daughters [Brianna and Brooke] out to dinner Tuesday night to a special riverfront seafood restaurant called the River Crab in St. Clair, MI.
The restaurant had a special keepsake menu printed for them with their names at the top.
We began with three appetizers: Almond encrusted Brie with warm Apple Chutney Crostini; flash fried Calamari; and Dynamite Scallops on the shell. They were all SO good!
We all ordered different entrees, but I only photographed mine - Maryland Style Crabcakes.
Steve and Sharon's wedding cake was cheesecake, so that's what they ordered for dessert.
~ Jerry and I ordered Creme Brulee ~
The server ended our meal with five dark chocolate molded fish.
It was a lovely evening. We'll celebrate their anniversary one last time this coming Sunday with a special service honoring them and the church's 14th anniversary. Since the details of the service are a surprise to them, I'll wait until it's over to share on the blog.
Wonderful! Happy Anniversary to Sharon and Steve!
