Tiffany's Commencement Ceremony

My granddaughter, Tiffany, finished college right before her August wedding, and her pinning ceremony was the day she returned from her honeymoon.  She passed her state boards, but her Commencement Ceremony wasn't until last Saturday, December 19th.

With a starting time of 5:00 p.m., Jerry and I had to hurry from Cristy's tea in East Lansing to Oakland University in Rochester - a distance of 82 miles.  We missed the processional, but got there when they were giving Florine Mark [Weight Watchers] an honorary Doctorate, so we didn't miss seeing any of the graduates receive their diplomas.

Congratulations, Tiffany!   What a wonderful accomplishment.

  1. Huge congratulations to Tiffany! My daughter is 1/4 the way through a BSN/RN program, she already has a Bachelor's of Science - it is a lot of hard work. I'm glad that you were able to be a part of this special day for Tiffany.
