Brooke and Tea-themed Gifts

Happy October!

For the past three days I been staying with my granddaughter, Brooke, while her dad and mom are away on a Pastor's and Wives Retreat in northern Michigan.  Brooke's in the 8th grade this year, and on Powell Middle School's Dance Team.  Tuesday was the first football game where the dance team performed at half time.  Her papa and I were there to give support, and take pictures to send to her parents.  Gotta love modern technology!

Dance team lined up waiting for their turn to go onto the football field.

Also... I recently received two tea-themed gifts I've been wanting to share with you.  A beautiful blue and with picture for my living room with the verse from I Timothy 6:17 "God has given us richly all things to enjoy."

I hung it right by the front door.  Lovely!

Under the tray were two more boxes.  Only a jewelry lover would think of a lovely gift like this.  The lady who gave it to me is, indeed, a HUGE jewelry lover, and has even formed a jewelry club.

Pictured below are all three nesting boxes, and each one has a tray.  The boxes are called Tea Party made by Revelations.  Thanks Linda and Barb for your kindness!

Lastly... For those of you who might be giving a gift to a tea lover, as I was recently, Hallmark has an adorable tea-themed gift bag.  Thought you might like a heads-up.

  1. First off, Brooke is darling and I know she enjoyed having you in the stands cheering for the dance team! And your gifts are just perfection. Thanks for the tip on the Hallmark bag, too, I need to check that out.
