Dazzling and Defining

Today my girlfriend, Lori, and I went to Farmington Hills, MI to attend the Cultural Arts Department's monthly theme tea - Dazzling & Defining, with jewelry and scarf expert, Janet Wedell presenting the program.

The tables were beautifully set with mix and match teacups.

The event began with tea and scones, and both were delicious - cranberry/orange scones with Royal Wedding black tea [a blend of black teas with strawberry, kiwi, and mango] Yum!

The main entree was Cranberry-Almond Tuna Salad with Crackers.

Dessert was Vanilla Ice Cream with Caramel Sauce and Chopped Walnuts.  The servers made sure our teacups remained filled throughout the tea.

Janet demonstrated several different ways to modify jewelry sitting in our jewelry drawer. She is also an independent distributor for Premier Designs, Inc.  When she finished with her jewelry techniques, she showed us several scarf tricks too.  It was a very interesting program.

  1. Yum, that Royal Wedding tea does sound delicious, as does everything else that went with it! One of my good friends is a Premier jeweler, I will share this idea with her.
