My Favorite Things...

Autumn always turns my thoughts towards things I'm grateful for.  God has blessed me beyond measure with many blessings coming to mind, but today I share three ...
~ Family and the Joy of Grandchildren ~

I have a husband,  three children and their spouses, and eight  grandchildren who I love dearly.

My daughter-in-law just recently gave me these photos of my three youngest grandchildren.  Elizabeth, who we call Ellie [3 months],  her older sister, Isabella [7 years], and brother, Landon [who will be 4 years old next month].
Below is one of my grandchildren in the upper age bracket - Marissa, age seventeen, and a senior in high school.  This is one of her senior pictures that she had taken over the weekend.
~ Wonderful Friends ~
My doorbell rang yesterday afternoon with a beautiful floral delivery. What a thoughtful surprise from a very caring friend!
~ The Pleasures of Tea ~
God has given me so many things to enjoy, and tea is one of them [along with beautiful china!  ;-)]

  1. Beautiful post, Phyllis! You are blessed.

  2. Beautiful pictures of beautiful children, and I agree with you on counting family as one of my biggest blessings. And how lovely your flowers look on your tea tray! So blessed.

  3. Your grandchildren are just beautiful! Yes, you truly are blessed as I am as well. Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures and have a great week, Phyllis!

  4. Hello Phyllis,
You have beautiful grandchildren and you're so right about them being a blessing! Yesterday at our Thanksgiving dinner, one of those little blessings cuddled with me before dinner and he's about to turn nine! I loved it! Grandchilren are such wonderful blessings!
Your posies look lovely on your tea tray and thank you for your sweet post. Wishing you a beautiful week.

  5. Oh you are so blessed! There is nothing like family and grandchildren! Your tea is so lovely with the special vase of flowers! Happy tea day!

  6. What a *beautiful* family you have, Phyllis! I love seeing the photos of them all. And I also love when others share gratefulness--reminds me to count my own blessings instead of complaining!

Thank you for visiting my blog. If you would like to leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you!
