I intended to write this post at the very beginning of the new year, but since we're still in January it's not too late. Pantone selected two colors for 2016 instead of one - Rose Quartz [Pink] and Serenity [Blue]. I searched the Internet for photos in those colors before looking around my house for tea ware.
Below is my teacup featuring the Queen Mum on her 100th birthday. It comes the closest to Pantone's colors of the year.

Perfect. I will be converting my guest room into a nursery style dorm room for all my grandbabies. My colors will be right in style!I do plan to mix in a vintage minty green, too.
