I'm Back!

My last post was July 13th so you may [or may not] have been wondering where I've been.  I sometimes wonder how relevant blog reading is anymore, but for now I'll continue posting.

My hubby and I left on July 17th for a 16-day trip out west with our youngest son and his family.  We returned Saturday evening August 1st.  Jeremy and I took hundreds of pictures which will take time to transfer from i-phones to my desk-top.  I will share some of them along with highlights of the trip soon.  We traveled 4,655 miles and saw many amazing sights.

We got home just in time for granddaughter Brooke's high school graduation party which was yesterday afternoon.  It was held outdoors under a big tent, and Mother Nature held the rain off until right at the end.

We missed Brooke's outdoor commencement because it took place the first day of our trip, but Steve filmed it live on Facebook and we watched it from our location.  She graduated with honors and will be leaving in two weeks to attend Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois.

Before we left she asked her Papa to make her a Donut Board for her graduation party.

Brooke took a Polaroid photo of all her guests and put it in a book where they could write a message to her.

Daughter Lori and husband, Dave

Daughter-in-law Samantha, and grandkids, Isabella [Izzy], Landon and Ellie.  Jeremy stayed home to do some preparations for work before returning today.

Granddaughter, Brianna, came home from Nashville for her sister's graduation party, but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of her.

It was a fun afternoon celebrating Brooke.
