Riverboat Dinner Cruise

I mentioned last week that we were taking our family [and a few friends] on a riverboat dinner cruise on Lake St. Clair to thank them for our wonderful 50th Wedding Anniversary party they gave us. The three hour cruise was last Friday, July 1st.  There were 22 of us.

The boat accommodates 80, but only three other couples were on board, so we practically had it to ourselves.  The lower deck was where the buffet was set up, and the upper deck was where the D.J. and dancing were. The grandchildren really enjoyed the upper deck.

We hadn't had rain for several days, and it rained Friday morning, but by the time we boarded the boat at 6:00 p.m. Mother Nature cooperated perfectly.
