My children and their families attend different churches, but on Mother's Day we all worshiped together. Four generations are pictured below.

This was the weekend to "hang out" at Sycamore Hills Golf Club. Saturday, May 10th was the Ladies' Spring Tea held there [tomorrow's post], and on Sunday our family returned for their special Mother's Day brunch.
My mom and me waiting for our reservation to be called.

After we ate we went outside for more pictures. I'm blessed with three wonderful children. Three of the happiest days of my life are when they were born.

Love being with them and their families!

One of my Mother's Day gifts is Afternoon Tea [the Princess Kate tea] at the Grand Floridian when I'm vacationing in Florida this summer. I can hardly wait!
Love this tea-themed card I received too!
Grateful to my hubby for coordinating such a nice day, and how special to celebrate Mother's Day with my daughter and two daughters-in-law, who are wonderful mothers to their children. My 92 year old mother joined the celebration too. What a great family day!
What a blessing to have all your children with you on Mother's Day, and to have four generations together is an extra special blessing! I'm so glad you had a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of everyone. Sounds like you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful day. Had to smile at the 4 generation photo...each generation seems to grow a bit taller than the last. :>)
ReplyDeleteI had to giggle when I saw that your family was worshiping together on Mother's Day. We tried that, too. My daughter-in-law, who has a June 6 due date, stopped in the restroom just before the service. Then she came and tapped the shoulder of the one on the aisle and we all stood, turned right, marched out of church like soliders, got in our vehicles and drove to the hospital where my grandson (aka Mother's Day Gift) made his appearance 4 hours and 45 minutes later! It will be a Mother's Day we will all remember!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you got to enjoy such a special Mother's Day, and I look forward to reading all about the Princess Kate Tea!
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful family, Phyllis. I enjoyed seeing them! I am just now catching up on blog reading and want to say that I loved your post on the Miss America tea!
