Yesterday, two girlfriends and I attended our monthly Afternoon Tea at O'Mara's Avalon Tea Room. November's theme was, BounTEAful Harvest.

~ Tablescape Decoration~
~ There were 24 attendees which included one brave man! ;-) ~
~ All three at our table ordered Harney & Son's Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea. ~
~ Roasted Root Vegetable and Turkey Sausage Soup ~
~ The stage was all set for Chef Anita's demonstration of Apricot/Chive Chicken Salad. ~
There were four finger sandwiches per person: Apricot/Chive Chicken Salad on White Bread; Roast Beef with Caramelized Shallots on Butter Rolls; Fresh Ricotta, Thyme & Oregano topped with Roasted Balsamic Zucchini on toasted Baguette; and Blueberry French Toast on Challah Bread with Goat & Cream Cheese spread and fresh Blueberries.

~ The main entree was an Apple, Bacon, Cheddar and Rosemary Quiche. Yum! ~
The Quiche was followed by Baked Brie glazed with Pomegranate, wrapped in Filo Dough.
Diana, our server, took time to take a picture of the three of us. L-R: Sandy, Lori and me.
Dessert was a Baked Apple stuffed with Raisins and Walnuts, served with Vanilla Ice Cream, and a Pumpkin Scone. No one leaves O'Mara's hungry!
We have already made our reservations to return on December 10th for their Christmas Tea. The theme will be A Charles Dickens Christmas Carol.
They always do a wonderful tea, don't they? Looks absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing!
