An Extra Special Issue of Tea Time Magazine

Tea Time magazine is my all-time favorite publication.  I have every issue published, and look forward to each new issue.  It contains photos of beautiful china and tablescapes, tea equipage, tea information and history, tea recipes, and tea rooms, and when you know someone who owns one of those tea rooms, the magazine becomes even more special.

The May/June 2014 issue features Nancy Reppert, and her lovely tea room, Sweet Remembrances, located in Mechanicsburg, PA.

I first met Nancy in 2005 when the Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association held their first annual seminar at Sweet Remembrances.  We met again in 2007 on a London, England Tea Tour, and our most recent meet-up was last month in Berea, Kentucky.

Congratulations, Nancy on being featured in the #1 national tea publication! You are very deserving of the honor!

It's rare that I own china featured in the magazine, but I happen to have a trio of the Wedgwood china pictured on the cover - Wild Strawberry pattern.

Also included in the tea events calendar of this issue [page 11] is the Afternoon Tea with Miss America, which I'm a committee member.  We're very grateful to Betty Terry for giving us publicity in Tea Time, and I'll definitely be blogging about the event after it takes place. 5. I saw the "Miss America" reference and smiled, realizing it was the event you've mentioned. And while I haven't met Nancy, I have certainly read about her (and read her blog) and enjoyed reading about her in Tea Time, too. So glad you have some of that beautiful china pictured on the cover. Hugs!

  7. This issue was very special to me, as I too met Nancy at the first TakeMe2Tea conference in Las Vegas, NV, many many moons ago. And on the cover of the magazine is also my wedding china. I bought my first place setting long before I even met my husband. :) I didn't get the teapot until years later but I love that it's so danity. So two things that have meaning to me.
