It's impossible to step inside TranquiliTea without making a purchase. Mary Ann was the pleasant and helpful sales assistant while I was shopping.
The shop [located in Plymouth, MI] carries a large selection of teas from Harney & Sons as well as The Republic of Tea - including their Downton Abbey line.
My shopping bag was full of purchases.

And three tins of The Republic of Tea's Downton Abbey Teas: Downton Christmas Tea, black tea with mulling spices; Lady Cora's Evening Tea, caffeine-free blend of chamomile and lemon balm; and Mrs. Patmore's Pudding Tea, black tea with caramel and vanilla.
I'm sipping the Christmas Teas as I type this post. When I lifted the lid a wonderful orange, citrusy aroma wafted out of the container. The citrus taste is not overpowering, but delightfully subtle and mild.
In case you're wondering, the Christmas teacup doesn't have a pattern name. The manufacturer's trademark is Bluebird, and it's made in Canada.

What a wonderful place! I would have come out loaded as well! Love your seasonal teacup. Lots of potteries made that pattern...I just love it!

What a fun shopping report! Those new teaspoons are lovely, as is the stationery, and the cookie cutter, and the napkins, and ... well, everything! Especially like the spoons, though, as I've never before seen any with a) teapots on the handle and b) jewels. Charming! Thanks for the review on the Downton Abbey Christmas tea, too. That's on my to-try list for this Christmas season!
ReplyDeleteDidn't you find some treasures here! I like the holiday napkins and the Queen cookie cutter! What a fun shop.
