I need to make some in the fall to see me through the winter months (just in case I get a hankering for iced tea, which in Georgia is quite possible!).Angela McRaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10928913868086900802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019493705058948268.post-89877864285474202322013-06-02T16:06:33.565-04:002013-06-02T16:06:33.565-04:00Lovely to meet you and read your post.We both enjo...Lovely to meet you and read your post.We both enjoy tea time :)I'm now your new follower. Please drop by and stay as long as you like-DeniseDenisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01877661749658933807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019493705058948268.post-20723096458747917462013-05-31T23:21:43.991-04:002013-05-31T23:21:43.991-04:00I have a mint julip cup and didn't know that w...I have a mint julip cup and didn't know that was what it was. Someone gave it to me with a candle in it. The candle is gone and I also love it for flowers. The recipe does sound good. Mint and lime juice are such a refreshing combination. I often use them with cut up watermelon too. I will have to do that. Gotta get my plastic icecube trays out of the high cupboard. (with the automatic icemaker, I don't use the trays much anymore.)GardenOfDaisieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03110646840082802721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019493705058948268.post-6473491411290341472013-05-31T11:37:07.918-04:002013-05-31T11:37:07.918-04:00Oh, yes, mint is easy to grow. One year when we lived in Alabama, my ex brought in a HUGE bag of mint that he'd rescued, it was about to be plowed under - we made mint jelly and it was delicious. Nowadays I am just happy to have some in a pot that I can enjoy in my tea.Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12990986767552423062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2019493705058948268.post-10357716636096577002013-05-31T10:12:18.533-04:002013-05-31T10:12:18.533-04:00The recipe looks great, Phyllis.
